Musings on the Boulevard (Part 2)
Ø Somewhere lives a special someone who will remain to be just a special part of our cherished memories.
Ø One needs to know one’s parameters in any relationship. Boundaries need to be defined. Respect is paramount even in the world of love.
Ø Silence is power. When someone ignores you nor value your person, never react neither beg for attention. You are worth more than anyone’s attention. You are valuable as you are.
Ø In The Little Prince, it says: “It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important.” Indeed, we often find the value of a person when that person is no longer part of our life. Sad, isn’t it? Learn to appreciate everyone’s presence in your life even if it’s only for a while.
Ø Sometimes we forget many details about the person from our past, yet we remember the feeling (often vividly) that we used to have towards that person. How is it so?
Ø Treasure that someone who cares even if that person was from the memory of old. Time will come when you’ll miss the kind of care that person shared with you. It was rare. A true friend is a rare treasure.
Ø Minsan kailangang muling magtagpo upang maunawaan ang nakaraan at mamutawi and nakalimutan: “Salamat, kaibigan.”
Ø Nights of reminiscing.
Moments of regrets.
The face. The voice.
The tender touch.
All in distant memory.
Ø The night is still. The silence is deafening. Yet your whispers echo the tender breathe of unspoken love. Your face shines in cloudless sky as it flickers with the stars and the bright moonlight. And in a second, everything faded and turned into a shadowed memory.
Ø When a memory triggered a certain feeling from yesterday, does that mean one has not really moved on? Or was it just a prick from the past as a reminder of the lessons learned and the growth that needs nurturing?
Ø In life’s journey, some people left not just footprints in the sand but memories to last a lifetime.
Ø Minsan ang minahal ay ako.
Minsan siya’y Minahal ko.
Matagal na ang minsan.
Ø Mountains and hills may separate us. Even time keeps us apart. And silence intensifies the pain of separation. One thing fortifies the though … we are just one heart away.
Ø Maybe
next time when opportunity comes again, we’ll try not to miss it because we may
never have another chance ever. Coffee is our friend. A missed coffeetime with
a friend is a lost moment with someone dear.
Ø Di man naging tayo, mapalad pa rin ako dahil nakilala kita at nakadaupang-palad. Saan ka man naroroon, maraming salamat at nawa’y patnubayan ka palagi ng Maykapal. Hanggang sa muli kung sakaling itadhana, nakangiti akong ika’y yayakapin ng mahigpit, Kaibigan.
Ø Truth of the matter is that there is a reason why things happen. We may not know it immediately. We just need to be patient. The answer to our question will come at the right time with a clarity only our heart can discern. Maybe, the answer to our question is written in our own heart.
Ø There
weren’t goodbyes. No closure. Was it meant to be an open-ended one? Probably,
destiny meant for us to make the proper farewell someday … somehow … somewhere.
