Musings along the Boulevard

Ø  When all that is left is a silhouette of your presence and the memory of our whispered love.

Ø  True friendship is beyond distance … eternal as time. Though silence echoes perceptively, the depth is that it’s rooted in the heart. No wed of net could prevent it from waking up from a deep sleep once friends come to meet again.

Ø  The silence of a friend seems eternal but a true friend’s heart never forgets.

Ø  Sincerity in a relationship is not defined by distance and time but by the depth of its spirit in one’s heart.

Ø  Someone said: “If you can’t sustain it, might as well not renew it.” Consequential solitude is not of the faint of heart.

Ø  You have gone through a lot. Events that made you laugh, yet some of which made you sad. People you met that you called friends stayed but some left without a word. Still, you move on because life is a continuous journey where joys and sorrows, hellos and goodbyes all play like a conundrum of experience that will fortify or break you.

Ø  Some moments happened you wished they never did as they only revealed the impossibility of bringing back some old feelings. And you just must continue loving in the quiet distant space.

Ø  When we take our woundedness as an opportunity to heal others then we become not just pained individuals but Wounded Healers.

Ø  It might be a waiting in vain, but it was worth, nonetheless. With the discovery and the realization, it was a wait meant to be. Finally, an end and a closure.

Ø  If we meet to talk to win a point of an argument, we lost the opportunity to be real friends. Far more important, we lost a chance to love and be loved.

Ø  People come and go. Some remain for a lifetime, but others only for a while. Some significant ones remain only in memory … forever.

Ø  Sometimes it is better to leave things as they are and let feelings remain unexpressed. Silence is closure itself. Distance bids our goodbyes.

Ø  Maybe it wasn’t the right time yet. Or maybe it just wasn’t meant to be. Who knows? One thing important for sure, the feeling was there. Time lapsed and distance came in between. Destiny will define what tomorrow will be.

Ø  Maybe it was my youth. So many things I didn’t know not fully understood. But one thing remained certain that I just recently discovered. It was buried in my memory over time. And shall remain concealed … for peace, for charity.

Ø  You will remain to be a beautiful memory, one who was once loved in secret and shall remain to be so. Thanks for the memory.

Ø  Seek not on one who will understand you but find the one who will not leave you even if you are confusing.

Ø  Behind the smile might be a ferocious beast. Be warned.

Ø  As I wave a farewell, there comes with it is my wish for your well-being, and an assurance too that gratitude will always be in my heart as I profoundly remember your love and friendship. Gratias.

Ø  Life is an amalgam of questions. Some got instant answers, but others took some time. Some questions though never get an answer in our lifetime. They’re simply meant to be asked for us to surrender ourselves to the workings of the Spirit.

Ø  Some moments we love to remember, some we try to forget. Some left a mark, some left lessons to be learned. And in our recall, some lead us to tears – some of joy, some of regrets. But always with gratitude and a prayerful wish that everything will be in peace.

Ø  One wonders if time could be stretched and distance is shortened so that even for just a while a friend’s hands are held in an extended borrowed time. “Time please be my friend” one cries.

Ø  Someday the clouds will clear, and the Lord’s message is revealed. In God’s time and by His Divine Design, the moment we dream shall come into fruition. Hope, Believe, Trust. Keep the faith.

Ø  Things turned out not the way it was hoped for. Who’s to blame? Time? The moment? The past or the present? No apologies. Just regrets.

Ø  Happiness should never be our life’s goal. Joy is a much deeper aim for man to strive for. To be happy is external. To be joyful is internal and carries a deeper spiritual root. Life’s contentment comes from within.

Ø  Everything happens for a reason and a purpose. What matters is how we respond to what is presented before us. That will define our surrender to the Will of God.

Ø  Brokenness should never be treated as a failure but an opportunity to look back and evaluate. Pick up the pieces and move on. With the learnings and realizations, a new strength and a spirit of hope will make one a better person and be able to love again.

Ø  Things happened not as we or others expected them to happen, but they did. Why? That’s for our discernment. But always remember that things happen in life for a reason and with a purpose. Pray. Reflect. In time, we will hear the whispers of the Spirit. Let our hearts listen.
