Coffee Musings Under the Maple Tree

(Part 19)

Twin flames and deep connection are for real only if the parties concerned are true to themselves. Such that separation becomes only temporary and is meant to understand their individuality better so that when the right time comes to reunite, they’ll be more accepting of each other. Their love for one another becomes deeper and more sublime.

 

Live the now. Tomorrow never comes, but it offers hope an new beginnings. Yesterday is over, let the memories remain all but reminders of lessons learned.

 

If one truly loves, silence couldn’t last too long. For a heart who cares and loves dearly will always reach out to the beloved even if the heart still bleeds from the wounds of yesterday.

 

The heart reaches out and continues to love.

 

If you feel tired of loving someone, take a pause. Sometimes you might need to walk away. Or distance yourself. Like the waves off the shore, come back and reach out when you are ready. Never stop loving. To love and be loved is the greatest gift of all.

 

Be like a candle. You only find value when you’re lit with fire and melt into nothingness. Our worth as a person is measured best when we give ourselves in loving and caring for someone to the point of losing ourselves.


 

A Night Prayer: The night is nigh. I pray to God to keep us safe and grant us a restful sleep. For tomorrow promises a vision of a new life with joy, peace, and well-being. Amen.

 

In our life’s journey, we oftentimes find ourselves wondering when we are going to find the one we have been searching for. The wait for the right one is a test of our patience and faith. When we submit ourselves to the workings of the Spirit, the waiting will always be worth it. True love waits.

 

At the end of the day, I ask myself: What was the most loving thing that I did today? The answer to that question is hidden in my heart. My mind can’t deny it for my soul rests on it.

 

To the one I love.

Everyday is a day of hope as I look forward to being with you again.

Everyday is a day of prayer as I pray for your well-being and safety.

Everyday is a day of loving and being loved as I feel your ever-loving presence in my heart and in my mind though distance and space separate us.

I love you very dearly.

  CALLED TO BE HEALERS TO ONE ANOTHER (January 26, 2024)   Reflection on the Gospel (Mark 1:29-39)   Question: Why did Peter deny knowing Jesus three times? Answer: Because Peter was so mad at Jesus for healing his other in-law.   Of course, that was only a joke. It was a joke revolving around the relationship between in-laws. Jesus healed the mother in-law of Peter from fever. The succeeding parts of the Gospel, Jesus continued with his ministry of healing – casting away demons, curing people from various illnesses and diseases, and many more. At the end of the day, Jesus came to a secluded place to pray and commune with His Father in heaven. Then immediately after dawn, Jesus begun his healing miracles and preaching.   We see, however, that at the end of the day, and even before the sun rises at dawn, Jesus come to a place to pray.
