Coffee Musings Under the Maple Tree

(Part 4)

Ø Realizing what is most important in one's life gives a certain sense of comfort. Knowing that there are people who love you more than you'd ever known, allows you to love more as well. The sadness of one's brokenness is enveloped with a new sense of joy and tranquility of heart.

Ø Never give up. Rise up and be a better, wiser, and stronger person than you were before.

Ø Be just.

Ø Soon…you will forget. Trust the process.

Ø Seek God’s forgiveness at all times. Do charity. Pray. Forgive those who offended you.

Ø We all wish that we could run away from the memories that bring us pain.

Ø It is imperative though that we are faithful to our call. Our fidelity to the call is our way of giving back to God the gift of talent that he has given to us to be who we are and what we have become.

Ø If we love, we forgive. Why? Because we ourselves are loved by God and therefore forgiven. We are called to do the same.

Ø While it’s good to have wonderful memories to look back to and remember, the act of reminiscing sometimes brings too much pain and we find ourselves crying again.
