Coffee Musings Under the Maple Tree

(Part 3)

Ø If the feelings of the other fades away as manifested by the person’s constancy and consistency in communication, it’s time to take a pause and examine the events previous. The changes, the amount of time spent, the sound of the voice that reveals interest or non-interest, and others. It hurts but one needs to pause, seriously.

Ø “It was a blessing in disguise that we never had a song that we can call as ‘our song’. No nostalgia means an easier journey into normalcy and peace of mind.”

Ø “I did change. I realized how I was being treated before despite my deep and sincere love and care. After turning a blind eye to his ways in treating me, I got tired, so very tired. I realized there are other persons that need my love and care who maybe more appreciative of me and will value me truthfully.”

Ø In our seeming helplessness, there is our God waiting for us to call upon him. And when we call in humility, the Lord our God will answer our prayer. For He assures us: “Seek and you shall find. Ask and you shall receive. Knock and it shall be opened unto you.” (Matthew 7:7)

Ø Let your ability to love sincerely douse the fire of anger in your heart that comes from feeling manipulated.

Ø We must always be grateful even with small things given or favor done to us. A simple “Thank You” means a lot to the giver but it also shows what kind of person we, the recipients, are.

Ø As long as man have a heart that feels, man will continue to love despite anything or everything.
