Coffee Musings Under the Maple Tree

(Part 2)

Handle my trust with care because it is very valuable and fragile. Break it and it will be gone forever.

*     Some memories are bitter. Some memories are sweet. The blend of them together, makes a person a lot stronger.

*    Only the person with a pure heart and good intentions knows how to forgive in words and actions. Forgiveness is an act of love. And true love can only be manifested by one with deep faith in God, who is love.

*    To avoid disappointment, hope for something that’s attainable no matter how difficult it may be. Never hope for the impossible, it will only cause you stress. Never hope for the unreachable, it will only frustrate you. Never love one who does not love you back, it will only bring you tears.

*    Grieving is part of the healing process.

*    Our prayers must be manifested in the way we treat people and the environment. The way we live is a product of our prayers. Our pious prayer acts in private are very good, but the fruits of our prayers must resonate in the way we live and treat other people and our surroundings.

*    Jealousy poisons. Remove from our heart the subject of jealousy. It isn’t worth keeping.

*    Learn to let go of who or what causes you stress and pain. Eventually, you will forget them. And you will be happy more than ever.
